Limited Engine Warranty
Engines remanufactured by Wheelers are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser and subject to the conditions stated below.
If the engine fails during the warranty period (see below) Wheelers will repair or replace the failed part free of charge, providing all the conditions of the warranty are met.
Warranty Period:
Passenger car and truck engines for personal use: Three (3) years, unlimited miles. Includes labor when purchased and installed by a licensed garage.
Commercial passenger car and truck engines: Two (2) years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. Includes labor when purchased and installed by a licensed garage.
Industrial engines: 90 days
Marine engines: 90 days
Conditions of Warranty:
This warranty does not cover problems caused by components not supplied with the engine, abuse, burned pistons, dirt, thrust bearing failure, rear seal leaking, or improper installation.
Warranty Procedure:
If there is a problem with our engine, please call Customer Service at 478/781-7200 or toll-free 866/781-7200. A call must be made before any warranty repair is done. If prior approval is not obtained, Wheelers will not be responsible for warranty repair.
Labor:
Wheeler's limited warranty pays a maximum of $400.00 per engine purchased for removal and replacement if it is determined the engine is defective of material or workmanship.
